The Walking Holiday Company is owned and run by walking enthusiasts Nick & Julie Thomas, who live in Monmouthshire on the borders of England and South Wales
Nick and Julie have never taken it for granted that they live in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and both can regularly be seen pulling on their walking boots and stretching their legs in the glorious Wye Valley, on the Offa's Dyke Walk, around the Three Castles walk.
and Julie's family base on the Isle of Wight. The married couple have spent most of their holidays walking the length and breadth of the UK, mostly on the National Trails of England, Scotland and Wales, each time discovering new highlights and lovely places for walking holidays and accommodation.
Nick is a keen wildlife and nature photographer, as you can see from the web site pictures. He is also a passionate walker and can even boast completing the 3 peaks of Snowdon, Scafell and Ben Nevis within 24 hours!
Julie has years of experience of arranging walking holidays and has a keen interest in all things ‘out doors’. Health and fitness are high on Julie’s agenda and she would recommend walking as one of the safest and most rewarding forms of exercise.
It was a natural progression for Julie and Nick to start The Walking Holiday Company, thereby combining their keen interest in nature and the environment with years of walking experience. The result is a collection of extremely well organised walking holidays and a high standard of service for other walking enthusiasts to enjoy.
The Walking Holiday Company aims to continue building their reputation for quality and service to walkers from all around the UK, as well as walkers from overseas, who are keen to walk the National Trails and other self guided walks around British Isles.
