Norfolk Coast Path & Peddars Way
Peddars Way and the Norfolk Coast Path follows the National Trail that starts in Knettishall, amid the forest strewn borders of Norfolk and Suffolk and has recently been extended to end at Hopton-on-sea, on the North Norfolk Heritage Coast. Peddars Way was one of the earliest roads to be built in the county, shortly after AD61. Today it remains as the most substantial and best preserved of all Norfolk’s known Roman roads and a favoured choice for people who enjoy walking holidays in the UK.
The Norfolk Coast Path starts in Hunstanton then joins with the Peddars Way at Holme-next-the-Sea and runs past salt marsh, beach and cliffs of the
Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
